Our Clientis looking for the next great addition to our team! Client is a well-respected, innovative and growing Civil Engineering/Transportation firm located in beautiful city of San Antonio in South-Central Texas. Clientcontribute their talents to the planning, design and completion of a variety of Transportation and Roadway projects. They specializes in Roadway, Drainage, Traffic, Construction Management and Inspection services for public agencies and private developers.

Client currently has long-term public works contracts with both the State and Local municipalities and are looking to add to the team.

What skills and experience can you bring to the GKW team?

n

8+ years Civil Engineering experience in Transportation Design.

n

Four-year Civil Engineering degree is required.

n

Texas Civil Engineers license .

n

Knowledge of and local codes and agency standards is a plus.

n

Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

n

Strong skills in Leadership, Project Management & QA/QC

n

Effective written and oral communication skills including proposal and report writing.

n

Experience tabulating bid items, calculating construction bid quantities and developing cost estimates.

n

Personal responsibility for completing quality work within budgets and timelines.

n

Proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

n

Responsiveness and flexibility; you adapt easily to changing priorities.

n

Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Design is a plus.

n

MS Office experience including Word, Excel and Outlook.

n

Comfortable networking with clients and colleagues to develop and maintain professional relationships.
