Our client is a newly launched workforce development initiative focused on building equitable access to career pathways in advanced manufacturing and construction across Upstate New York. Backed by regional economic development leaders, this high-impact program is in its foundational stage—and you’ll be at the center of it all. The CEO is actively building the organization from the ground up and is seeking a trusted right hand to support day-to-day operations, strategic communications, and executive coordination.
About the Role:
This is more than just calendar management. As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you'll play a critical organizational role that blends executive support with team coordination. You'll manage confidential information, prepare presentations, coordinate board and partner meetings, and ensure seamless communication within a high-profile, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, and correspondence
- Prepare executive presentations, board materials, and internal reports
- Coordinate board communications, meeting logistics, and minutes
- Maintain contact databases and track key organizational documents
- Serve as a point of coordination for internal stakeholders and external partners
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Support a range of administrative and team coordination duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience supporting executive leadership or senior-level professionals
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Outstanding organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate with discretion, tact, and maturity in high-profile settings
- Experience coordinating board/committee meetings is a plus
- A collaborative mindset, with the flexibility to grow alongside a fast-evolving initiative
- Associate degree preferred but not required

- Location : Syracuse, NY (on-site)
- Compensation : $51,500–$60,000 annually
- Classification : This role may be non-exempt based on final salary and duties
