Job Title: Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00/hr on W2
Shift: (8am-4:30pm), M-F
Description:
The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and shipping Echo systems.
- This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Production Team located in San Jose, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping
- Provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems
- Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing position
- Associates degree in a technical field or comparable long-standing work experience
- Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- BS degree in a Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology discipline
- Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.
- Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Agilent, Hamilton)
**Proficiency in Excel a plus***
