Our client, a prestigious academic institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Coordinator! This contract-to-hire position offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic academic environment and provide high-level administrative support for the Dean's Office.

About You:

  • A bachelor's degree is required for this position
  • 1+ year of previous professional administrative support including managing complex calendars, business travel arrangements, and event coordination is preferred
  • Proven experience providing advanced administrative support in a fast-paced office setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proficient with office technology and software, including scheduling tools and event coordination platforms
  • Ability to work independently, solving problems proactively with minimal supervision

About the Job:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Dean's Office
  • Manage the Dean's calendar and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Assist with event planning, including venue reservations, catering, and guest logistics
  • Oversee daily office operations, including reception, supply management, and equipment maintenance
  • Handle mail, packages, and conference room scheduling

This contract-to-hire position will work onsite 5 days a week. The role is paying up to $23.50/hour while temporary, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance.
