Appointment Scheduling Specialist - Surgical Specialists Clinic - Full-Time, DaysBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + TogetherWork location: 800 5th Aveue, Suite 410, Fort Worth, TX 76104Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmSurgical Specialists Clinic Highlights:Bonus OpportunityFamily oriented surgical teamCareer Advancement opportunities Here's What You NeedHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required)2 years related experience in Healthcare environment (strongly preferred) Requires strong customer skills.Good communication skills.Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Appointment Scheduling Specialist ProcessSchedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies by the physician. Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care. Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments. Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests. May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance. Gathers insurance information and patient personal data. Demonstrates positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts. Performs other duties as assigned.
