Program Specialist I

Position Purpose: The Program Specialist I is a grant funded role to oversee grants, programming, budgets and outcomes for the Non-title contract. The Program Specialist will develop and implement programs and initiatives to improve and monitor service delivery and outcomes for Southern Arizona's Non-Title population.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee new implementations and ongoing maintenance of Arizona Behavioral Health System of Care programs
- Develop, implement and monitor project plans to meet goals and timelines
- Facilitate program data collecting and reporting; analyze data and measure outcomes; develop and modify programs as needed
- Request corrective action plans from providers that are non-compliant and/or fail to meet contract requirements
- Develop training modules and train appropriate users
- Collaborate with the internal grant coordinator to propose funding opportunities for specialty programs
- Lead cross-departmental teams in the implementation of program development and quality improvement effort
- Develop innovative solutions for treatment issues for Southern Arizona populations
- Track access to care, treatment services, and outcomes for Southern Arizona populations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with Non-title grants
- Knowledge of Arizona Behavioral Health System of Care
- 3+ years of program administration and/or management experience
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or experience determined to be equivalent. Master's degree preferred. 3+ years of behavioral or physical health program experience.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
