Electrical Assembler/Technician
Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $23.00 - $29.00/hr Shift: MondayFriday, 1st Shift (5:00 AM3:30 PM or 6:00 AM4:30 PM)
About the Role
Join a specialized team that powers emergency response vehicles with precision and reliability. As an Electrical Installer, you'll be responsible for installing and wiring electrical components on fire apparatus equipmentfrom lights and hose reels to custom accessories. Your work ensures that first responders have the dependable tools they need to save lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Route and organize wires according to wire diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Install and connect electrical components including lights, hose reels, and accessories to control boxes.
- Fabricate mounts, boxes, and brackets based on blueprint specifications.
- Collaborate with fabricators and other team members to ensure complete and accurate installations.
- Build wire harnesses tailored to each vehicle's configuration.
- Use basic hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with low-voltage wiring and 12-volt systems
- Proficiency in electrical installation and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Experience in production or custom assembly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
