The AR Clerk position is an essential role in our Business Office. This position manages daily revenues, weekly billing, and AR aging.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review daily gross revenues to ensure accuracy and assist with month-end revenue closeout.
- Maintain A/R aging and post all cash receipts accurately and promptly.
- Prepare weekly billing logs, ensuring all diagnosis codes and certifications are received.
- Process itemized billings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of business office experience in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding in healthcare.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
