Commercial General Liability Claims Examiner | Remote

Our client, a highly regarded A-rated insurance carrier, is continuing its growth and is looking to add a Commercial General Liability Claims Examiner to their Northeast team. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced Commercial Liability Claims Examiner who can manage moderate to complex losses. The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end handling of Commercial General Liability claims, including slip and falls, premises liability, and some commercial auto exposures.

• Reviewing policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to determine coverage
• Conducting thorough investigations and securing relevant documentation
• Negotiating settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Making timely claim payments and adjustments
• Maintaining well-documented claim files with accurate coding
• Attending mediations as necessary

• 3 - 7+ years of experience handling Commercial General Liability claims
• Experience handling Commercial Liability claims while working for an insurance carrier is strongly preferred
• Must have experience handling Commercial Liability claims in New York
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Base salary: $85,000 to $105,000+ annually
• Bonus: 10-15% performance-based bonus
