Assembly Technician Chesterfield, MO

Pay: $20/hour Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Location: Chesterfield, MO Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician for our client in Chesterfield, MO. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team supporting product development and production efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, testing, and the use of hand and power tools in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components using various tools and hardware
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to meet production goals
  • Conduct functional and general testing of components and assemblies
  • Perform incoming inspections on parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies
  • Provide timely updates to the engineering team regarding project progress
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, including testing and tooling
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
