Accounts Receivable Clerk
We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a centralized accounts receivable department following a recent organizational merger. The role requires a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration to ensure seamless processing of customer payments and account management.
Responsibilities:
- Apply customer payments to their respective accounts with precision, utilizing data from various sources.
- Reconcile payments against invoices and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Manage data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies and accounting standards.
- Monitor aging reports and conduct light business-to-business collections for overdue accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues effectively.
- Work across multiple systems, including NetSuite and other platforms, to support the centralized accounts receivable process.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement and contribute to the optimization of department workflows.
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company guidelines.
- Provide support during the integration of systems and processes stemming from the recent merger.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, account reconciliation, or related financial roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-volume and accurate data entry.
- Strong proficiency in cash application processes and basic financial computations.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, SAP, or similar financial platforms is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and evolving workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
