What We Need:
Redmond is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Denver team. This isn't your typical 9-to-5. It's your chance to make an impact, grow with an innovative company, and thrive in a role that rewards collaboration, hustle, and strategic thinking.
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving new business by identifying, nurturing, and converting relationship-based opportunities. This role will focus specifically on supporting and growing Redmond's pipeline in various sectors including but not limited to commercial interiors, healthcare, and life sciences in Denver and surrounding submarkets. This individual will report to the Denver Office Lead as well as the Director of Marketing and Business Development while also working in tandem with team leaders to strategically target, pursue, and secure projects. The ideal candidate will be both a people connector and a collaborative partner, capable of translating opportunities to results.
What You'll Do:
Lead Generation & Relationship Building
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic relationships with brokers, architects, project managers, designers, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with leadership to generate leads, prioritize target clients, and align outreach efforts with revenue goals. Coordinate strategic meetings and represent Redmond at industry events as deemed necessary. Pursuit & Proposal Management
Lead all aspects of the proposal, pitch, and general presentation development process, collaborating with the Marketing Team as needed Collaborate with project team leaders to strategize on pursuit approaches, including company positioning, team composition, supporting collateral, and pitch strategy. Leverage industry insights and market knowledge to inform pursuit decisions and strengthen Redmond's positioning on opportunities. Strategy & Data Management
Conduct research on market trends, potential clients, and competitors to inform outreach strategies and growth planning. Maintain accurate tracking of contacts, leads, and opportunities using Redmond's CRM (Copper) and other documentation tools. Provide regular updates on business development progress, pursuit outcomes, and other key performance indicators. Expand footprint in the Denver market and work to establish Redmond as a major competitor in the GC space What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Marketing, or Construction Management and/or 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management (AEC or CRE experience highly preferred) Solid understanding of Denver's commercial construction landscape and key industry players Entrepreneurial spirit and strategic thinker with a highly collaborative approach and the ability to build trust and consensus across team members Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers and influencers at companies and organizations Confident, personable, and genuine personality with excellent communication skills Compensation & Benefits:
