Summary of Position: The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Aide is responsible for assisting with the implementation of school wide universal PBIS supports in order to strengthen social skills, improve social emotional competence, apply behavioral expectations, monitor and improve school attendance rates to elevate academic achievement.
Qualifications Appropriate and Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA qualified endorsement Experience working with students struggling academically preferred Exceptional communication skills required

Appropriate and valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement Current favorable State and Federal background checks Negative drug screen
Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The successful candidate must complete any Safe Schools courses as recommended and assigned by the Administration.
