As a Quality Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring product and process quality through inspections, audits, and data analysis. You'll identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your performance will be measured by audit accuracy, regulatory compliance, and contributions to cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct product audits and inspections on the production floor. Collect and analyze measurement data; validate gauges and equipment. Perform daily audits and inspections per established checklists and inspection sheets. React to out-of-specification items by notifying appropriate personnel and placing items on hold or in quarantine. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Document and communicate supplier component issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, CSR (Customer Specific Requirements), and ISO 14001 standards. Maintain 5S standards and uphold company values. Collaborate with HR on personnel matters and ensure adherence to company policies. Monitor quality of incoming and outgoing materials. Contribute to internal and customer quality performance metrics. Participate in PPAP & PSO activities. Promote a safety-oriented work environment and wear PPE as required. Qualifications

Education : Grade 12 OSSD required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset. Experience : 1-3 years in a quality-related role; Tier 1 experience is a plus. Skills :

Strong verbal and written communication Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to read blueprints and GD&T Familiarity with gage use (micrometers, calipers) Basic computer skills; MS Excel knowledge preferred Experience with CMM and Datamyte is an asset

Certifications : Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and CSR requirements Work Environment & Physical Demands

Standing and walking for the entire shift; no seating on the production floor. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing. Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment. Good hearing and visual acuity required. Facility is not climate-controlled; expect varying temperatures. Moderate noise level; fast-paced environment with changing shifts and deadlines. Must be able to work independently and adapt to changing production needs. PPE must be worn at all times on the production floor.
