Assembler - 2nd Shift
PGS Worldwide is actively seeking skilled Assemblers to support ongoing work in the aerospace and defense industry. This role involves performing assembly and inspection tasks for mission-critical components in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment.
Required Skills: Proficiency with hand and/or power tools for mechanical and electronic assembly Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and assembly drawings Experience making continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards Ability to work independently and in a team setting Availability to work 2nd shift hours (3:30 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday-Thursday) Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments Knowledge of quality inspection processes in accordance with engineering specifications Experience assembling complex subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables Ability to perform rework, modifications, and testing on prototype or experimental assemblies Position Overview: In this role, you will perform a variety of production assembly operations-ranging from repetitive tasks to complex, non-repetitive builds-on mechanical and electronic assemblies and subassemblies. Duties include working from diagrams and layouts, assembling parts to precise specifications, and performing quality checks to ensure compliance. You may also disassemble, modify, reassemble, and test units under simulated conditions when needed.
