Apogee is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our Fort Collins, CO office. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, planning, and managing interior design projects from concept through completion. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and fellow designers to develop immersive, functional, and user-centered environments. Responsibilities include programming, space planning, design development, and producing construction documents and specifications. Your passion for design and ability to balance aesthetics with functionality will help bring innovative spaces to life for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead various tasks related to design and build inclusive of, but not limited to, sourcing finishes, casework/millwork, furniture and equipment, lighting, space planning, concept research, design development, documentation, construction administration, interviews, QAQC and estimates. Plan and communicate effectively to facilitate collaboration among clients, designers, architects and engineers to successfully accomplish projects. Help to develop organizational systems to continue to better the company and design department. Reads, interprets, and responds to RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and submittals. Maintain constant professional communications with client, project team, and consultants. Presents self in a professional manner and appearance. Maintains a neat and organized workspace Available to travel up to 40% of the time.
This is an in-office position.
Salary Range: $63,000 - $100,000
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in Revit and CAD software and utilize Enscape and Photoshop to create color renderings, color boards and other presentation material.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 or more years interior design of healthcare, medical office building, commercial, municipal, federal, state and/or office buildings with knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, codes and construction process. Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design ore related field preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS
Licensed Interior Designer (NCIDQ) or in progress. Registered Interior Designer (RID) required, multiple states as necessary, willing to pursue after hired.
