We are seeking a motivated leader to assist in supervising and overseeing the daily operations of our Telerecruitment team, with a primary focus on platelet donor recruitment and achievement of platelet collection targets. Your work will save lives!
JOB SUMMARY:
Assists with supervising and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Telerecruitment staff with a specific focus on platelet donor recruitment. Supports planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all activities related to the efficient scheduling of eligible apheresis (platelet) donors. Conducts assigned tasks with the goal of meeting platelet product collection targets.
SCHEDULE:
- Full-time position, 40 hours/week.
- Monday - Friday, 10am - 7pm; Every other weekend rotation
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
1. Supervises daily operations and monitors workflows to ensure outbound calls align with platelet-specific donor assignments and production strategy. Tracks results versus goal achievement and communicate updates to staff and leadership daily. Coaches and motivates Telerecruiters to meet individual performance goals specific to platelet donations.
2. Trains new hires and existing staff in effective donor communication techniques, focusing on apheresis eligibility criteria and scheduling protocols.
3. Monitors donor calls to ensure excellent customer service and accurate scheduling. Conducts monthly 1-on-1 meetings to share individualized performance data and reinforce platelet-specific messaging.
4. Utilizes donor recruitment platforms and CRM software proficiently. Updates platelet appointment slots, runs communication campaigns (voice blasts, texts, emails), and modifies donor outreach strategies as needed.
5. Reviews platelet inventory and blood type needs in collaboration with operational teams at fixed sites to identify priority donors and optimize scheduling efforts.
6. Assists with campaign development, scheduling staff, producing daily reports, maintaining training documentation, and ensuring platelet recruitment reference materials are current and accessible.
7. Leads team meetings and participates in strategic discussions regarding platelet recruitment trends, goal setting, and process improvements.
8. Investigate donor-related escalations and system issues. Provides analysis, feedback, donor record merging, and platelet collection tracking.
9. Manage donor communications via email and other platforms. Supports community-based recruitment efforts and special platelet donation projects.
10. Complies with CBC policies and standard operating procedures. Stays informed through ongoing training and participation in department updates.
11. Assists with donor calling efforts as needed to support platelet collection targets, including scheduling donors for optimal collection dates and locations.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong ability to manage team operations, meet performance targets, and lead a team focused on specialized donor recruitment.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential donor information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a data-driven, goal-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
