As a Security Officer in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, monitor access points, and communicate clearly with both team members and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM Tue 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM Wed 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM Thur 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM Sun 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support a secure environment. Remain alert and attentive during all shifts, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
