Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machinery such as band saws and sit-down forklifts, with a keen eye for detail and quality control. This role involves processing metal materials to customer specifications and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities

Operate machinery including band saws and sit-down forklifts. Read and interpret tape measures accurately for precise material cutting. Perform visual quality control checks to ensure high standards. Apply metal to customer orders following work order specifications. Maintain processing equipment in a safe and clean condition. Keep the processing area organized and free of hazards. Accurately complete all required information entry. Participate in classroom and hands-on training with an experienced trainer/operator. Essential Skills

Previous experience using a band saw for cutting steel. Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Competency in reading tape measures. Strong attention to detail. Proven ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in metal fabrication and aerospace industries. Strong attendance record and work history. Good with paperwork and maintaining chain of custody. Why Work Here?

Work in a large raw material supplier facility with over 60 employees. The environment is fast-paced, involving storage, cutting, and shipping of materials to customers. The main building is located in Auburn, WA, with shifts available on 2nd and 3rd. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
