Senior Specialist, Pricing & Deal Desk
The Senior Specialist, Pricing & Deal Desk is a critical member of the pricing team responsible for executing pricing deliverables, supporting deal strategy, and maintaining pricing tools and data accuracy. This role ensures smooth pricing operations and accurate, consistent outputs across high-volume dealsprimarily in RFPs, renewals, and cross-sells. Working closely with the Pricing & Deal Desk team, you'll support strategic pricing decisions through repeatable processes, while developing a deep understanding of pricing logic, costing, performance guarantees (PGs), and commercial positioning in the healthcare space. This is an excellent role for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in Microsoft Excel, loves clean data, enjoys crafting persuasive, value-driven content for proposals, demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy when working on contracts, and wants to build cross-functional skills across Sales, Solutions, Legal, and Finance. What You'll Do
Deal Execution & Proposal Support Own the completion of pricing sections for RFPs, BAFOs, contracts and other procurement documents Draft and maintain pricing proposals, cost models, and performance guarantee documentation Review and QA pricing calculators and proposals for accuracy before submission Prepare supporting pricing materials for renewals and new business Pricing Operations & Analytics Maintain Salesforce pricing fields and ensure pricing data integrity Update and manage the internal pricing database and reference library Track and update dashboards related to pricing trends, utilization, and performance guarantees Execute margin and costing analysis based on inputs provided by the pricing manager Process Ownership Support the intake and triage of new pricing requests Organize and maintain pricing templates, summaries, and reference materials Participate in continuous process improvement efforts across the deal desk function Growth & Learning Opportunities: Develop hands-on experience with utilization-based pricing, PEPM models, and PG structures Gain exposure to pricing strategy across healthcare advocacy, virtual care, and specialty solutions Build working knowledge of commercial contracts, pricing escalations, and deal negotiations Learn to communicate pricing rationale to Sales, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field 2 - 4 years of experience in pricing, FP&A, financial analysis, deal desk, or proposal operations Strong Excel skills required (nested formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); comfort in complex spreadsheets Familiarity with Salesforce, Qlik, Tableau, or similar CRM/BI tools a plus Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable balancing execution speed with precision under tight deadlines Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn from a high-performing pricing team Additional Details:
This role supports a wide range of deal types, with an emphasis on SMB, Reseller, and Light-Touch Renewals You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Product teams Title and compensation will reflect experience level The salary range for this role is: $79800-$119700 Annual Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity. Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.
