As a Manager Sr. Associate within the Liquid Credit Group, you will be given the opportunity to gain exposure to transactions within the broadly syndicated loan market. The Associate will work closely with the Senior Underwriter to evaluate, underwrite and manage a portfolio of rated institutional loans across a number of industry verticals. The Associate will be an integral part of the success of the team and will be responsible for ensuring that both primary (new issue) and secondary underwriting activities are addressed in a time sensitive manner to meet transaction timelines. The Associate will also drive effective execution of settlements/middle office activity and be responsible for meeting internal reporting requirements. Position is to be NYC-based (flexibility possible). Responsibilities: Work with senior underwriter to evaluate and underwrite all new deal opportunities (primary and secondary) and perform appropriate transaction due diligence Work with senior underwriter to develop market, macroeconomic and fundamental industry outlook Drive effective execution of settlement workflows and support internal reporting requirements. Review loan documentation Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in order to monitor the borrower's financial performance trends and liquidity and input into appropriate internal systems Review quarterly compliance certificates to ensure they are being completed accurately by the borrower Listen to annual or other interim lender update calls and ask questions, when appropriate Ensure appropriate borrower risk rating and process internal ratings upgrades/downgrades when appropriate Prepare internal quarterly, semi-annual and/or annual review memos Educations, Skills & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Advanced degree

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent 4-7 years of work experience with cash flow underwriting / portfolio management experience (preference for direct experience or working knowledge of leveraged finance / broadly syndicated loan market) Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statements and financial modeling High level of attention to detail Ability to work well with others and on teams Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Superior written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience working on leveraged finance / broadly syndicated loan transactions Completion of a formalized credit training program Familiarity with Bloomberg functionality Working knowledge of Refinitiv, CreditSights, Pitchbook, CapitalIQ websites All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
