Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
PrideStaff is currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a machine shop in the Park Forest, IL area! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery in a steel manufacturing environment. 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm M-F $22-$26 per hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE. This client is open to apprentice-level candidates with a foundation of skills and motivation to learn and grow within the role. Responsibilities: Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline manufacturing systems Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment Perform routine preventative maintenance Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Qualifications: Previous experience in machinery or industrial maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment Previous experience/knowledge with HVAC and electrical skills a PLUS Ability to handle physical workload Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit an up-to-date resume TODAY!
