Collections Specialist
A company in the Greater Memphis Area is looking for a collections specialist with B2B collections experience with first-party experience. The shift for the position is 10AM CST-7PM CST. There is hybrid flexibility for the role after the initial training period (50/50). Job Description
As a Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and resolving outstanding account balances. You will engage with external customers and internal business partners, providing exceptional communication and customer service. This role involves monitoring accounts, reconciling issues, and ensuring timely resolutions. Essential Skills
Experience in collections, accounts receivable, and reconciliation. Proficiency in making collection calls and managing customer service interactions. Strong knowledge of accounting, cash application, and invoicing processes. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. At least one year of business-to-business, first-party collections experience is necessary. Full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions. Work Environment
The work environment is a corporate setting with a hybrid schedule available after initial in-office training and onboarding. Employees enjoy access to an on-site gym facility and walking trail. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
