They have over 40 holding companies and are now seeking to bring on a Senior Financial Analyst to their team due to an internal promotion. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll work hand-in-hand with senior leaders and the accounting team to conduct variance analysis, provide impactful insights that shape strategic decisions, and drive forecasting across multiple teams. Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities: Partner closely with plant leadership to deliver financial insights that influence operational strategies and enhance overall performance. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial results, focusing on plant costs, inventory management, and critical operational KPIs. Work collaboratively with teams in operations, sales, HR, engineering, quality, and supply chain to drive cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities for plant operations, ensuring financial statements are accurate and complete. Build, refine, and maintain financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Conduct variance analysis on materials, labor productivity, production output, and overhead expenses; share actionable recommendations with leadership. Provide analytical support for capital expenditure projects, including ROI assessments and post-project evaluations. Lead and validate the plant's annual physical inventory count to ensure accuracy. Apply in-depth knowledge of the general ledger and cost allocation processes within a manufacturing environment. Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements, while identifying areas to streamline and automate processes. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience in a finance-focused role. Background spanning both accounting and finance is a plus.
