Clinical Recruiter

Remote, any US timezone. Must be located in the United States with full work authorization. No visa sponsorship will be provided for this role. No agencies please. This is a contract position with an initial 3 month term. There is potential for extension. Full-Cycle Recruitment

Own the end-to-end recruitment process for clinical positions, from role intake and sourcing to offer extension and onboarding coordination. Collaborate with hiring managers to create compelling job descriptions, establish hiring criteria, and define interview processes.

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

Proactively source qualified clinical candidates using various channels (e.g., job boards, professional networks, social media, industry events). Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future clinical openings, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Candidate Screening & Assessment

Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate clinical credentials, professional experience, and alignment with Maximus's mission and values. Coordinate interviews with hiring teams, providing guidance on effective interviewing and best practices for evaluating clinical skills.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Partner with clinical leadership to understand workforce needs, forecast hiring demands, and align on hiring priorities. Work closely with the People team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience that supports regulatory compliance and credentialing requirements.

Compliance & Credentialing

Ensure all recruiting and hiring activities meet healthcare regulations, including license verification, background checks, and other credentialing processes. Stay up to date on industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA), ensuring recruiting processes and candidate communications adhere to compliance standards.

Metrics & Reporting

Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, retention) to continuously refine strategies and processes. Present regular reports and insights to leadership, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and practices to streamline the clinical recruitment process and enhance the candidate experience. Solicit feedback from hiring managers, candidates, and clinical team members, using insights to optimize recruiting strategies.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Experience:

2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on clinical or healthcare roles (telehealth or digital health recruiting experience is a plus). Familiarity with clinical licensing, credentialing, and compliance requirements across multiple states.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar). Competence with standard office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace) and HR tools.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of building rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-Oriented & Organized:

Proven ability to maintain accurate records, manage complex candidate pipelines, and track recruiting metrics. High degree of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential candidate information.
