Are you ready to maintain and optimize essential process equipment? As a Process Mechanic, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of bioreactors, centrifuges, purification processing skids, purification columns, glasswashers, and autoclaves. Dive into mechanical maintenance activities, including valve rebuilds, pump repairs, agitator maintenance, motor pump alignment, and heat exchanger fixes. Your expertise in mechanical systems will be crucial to our success! Accountabilities: Capable of performing work in the mechanical, pipefitting, or plumbing trades Detail oriented and able to complete any required (GxP) documentation Use basic hand tools Must be able to read, write, and utilize drawings, mathematics, and formulas Read mechanical schematics and piping diagrams P&IDs Must be able to work in a clean room environment Candidate must possess basic computer skills Must have ability to communicate both orally and written in a clear manner Must be able to lift 50 pounds Essential Skills/Experience: 0-3 years experience HS diploma, technical school, or military training and experience in relevant field At AstraZeneca, you'll find yourself working on diversified tasks with a global team.
