Sourcing Manager for Indirect Procurement
The Sourcing Manager for Indirect Procurement is primarily responsible for strategically sourcing and negotiating multiple complex indirect spend categories to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance standards in direct alignment with our clients' Global Procurement strategy, category management structure, supplier management methodology, and performance objectives as defined by the Vice President of Global Procurement. The manager will collaborate effectively with regionally designated indirect category representatives (Global Indirect Team) to deliver the best value global products and solutions to the company and its clients. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager/Director of Indirect Procurement. This position also includes managing projects through the new product committee, MRB, PEM, Stagegate, etc. Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities Purchase Order Management- Pricing Expedite Invoice- Investigation, analysis and resolution Reporting
Spend analysis and Budgetary investigation Training Contract/Vendor Management, problem resolution, contract terms, resolve supplier shortages, monitor future implications, supplier escalation Customers Service Responsible for internal and external customers service levels and metrics Strategic Sourcing, New Vendor discovery, negotiation, contract creation and completion, Direct Sourcing responsibility Align and Drive IVC priorities and responsibilities across multiple departments General Responsibilities Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation. Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work. Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
The Candidate Education, Experience, and Licenses: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in purchasing, supply chain, operations or materials management preferred or related field Experience: 8+ years of purchasing experience Certifications/Licenses: CPM, APP or equivalent purchasing certification required Preferred Education: Master's Degree preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Windows-based PC programs and SAP Solid track record meeting substantial material cost reduction targets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Knowledge of supply chain levers, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, and manufacturing Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the company to achieve objectives Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements International Vitamin Corporation (IVC) is an equal opportunity employer.
