Seeking An Experienced RF Assembler
Professional small company work environment Direct Hire 1st shift Salary: $27.00-$31.00/hr Summary Responsible for soldering RF housings, circuit and component attachment of RF and Microwave assemblies. Contributes to expedited product flow by supporting a wide variety of production efforts under direct supervision. Your Daily Activities Will Include:
SMT soldering and PCB / PWB sub assembly and harness wiring. Microscope-level soldering and epoxy assembly of MIC and SMT components (approx. 70% of total job volume) Fabrication of hand-wound coils and magnetic wire assemblies to support large-volume production jobs. Waveguide assembly including welding and soldering of packaged diodes to maintain rigid dimensional and workmanship standards. Solder assembly (sn63; sn96 and gold/tin) of RF housing assemblies (all aspects), using hotplates, soldering irons, and specialized equipment. Read and follow production documentation, including assembly drawings, procedures, and lot travelers. Installation of feed-thrus (glass-to-metal seal) and RF substrate (Duroid, Alumina, BeO) attachment using epoxy and solder. Knowledge and proficiency of tools and equipment use and maintenance. Including the following: Hotplates / Ovens / Temperature indicators Solders (sheet, preform & wire) and epoxies (sheet and paste) Soldering irons / Solder masking Light-duty machine tools such as drill press, saws, and grinders Product support as needed including the following: Cleaning Masking / labeling Preparing devices for shipment Evaluations of incoming product Experience with chip/wire bonding and die attachment a definite plus. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or Associate degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience. J-STD-001 Certified Experience working with RF components required Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency
