Maintenance Technician III
As a Maintenance Technician III you will perform both minor and major repairs on all material handling equipment, including AutoStore systems. You will conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment. Your role includes coordinating with external contractors/vendors for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building systems. Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance , including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters. Troubleshoot and repair
broken parts of conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment. Coordinate
with external contractors/vendors involved in building systems maintenance. Complete and maintain records
of scheduled maintenance procedures. Comply
with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements, maintaining required HAZMAT records. Respond professionally
and timely to management and internal customer inquiries. Operate computers
that control and monitor mechanical and utility systems. Respond to emergency maintenance requests . Obtain estimates
for supplies and repair parts; order parts as needed. Provide recommendations
for maintenance program improvements. Operate powered lift equipment
and support equipment lockout/tagout processes. Perform outside custodial duties , such as snow removal. Essential Skills
High School Diploma
or equivalent. 2-6 years of maintenance experience , including use of hand and power tools. Experience in conveyor maintenance , electrical motors, hydraulics, and PLC control. Ability to interpret schematics
and perform industrial maintenance. Excellent organizational skills
and initiative. Ability to work independently
and as part of a team. Proficiency in basic arithmetic
and ability to interpret drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Operating warehouse equipment
and potential completion of Lift Operator Certification. Familiarity with OSHA guidelines . Responsive and courteous
to staff needs. Regular and prompt attendance
