Employment Type: PRN Department: Surgery Hours/Pay Period: 12 The posted compensation range of $61.68 - $80.01 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities Position Summary: Assesses patient/family health problems and resources, and takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for critical nursing care. Provides professional intensive nursing care and interventions to critically ill patient population(s). This position requires providing service to one or more age groups including ill children through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Current California RN License Current BLS & ACLS Certifications One year recent acute care experience Completion of a Perioperative 101 course of study or two (2) years recent inpatient operating room nursing experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Computer literacy Bachelor degree in health, or related field Current ACLS and PALS Certification St. Joseph's Medical Center is a member of Dignity Health.
