Senior Accountant
We're seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage multiple entities within our client's corporate accounting department. Responsibilities include: Manage the accounting operations including month and year end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity and debt activity. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Coordinate and support annual audits. Suggest improvements to systems and procedures. Meet financial accounting objectives and reporting deadlines. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions. Other projects and duties assigned. Skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of accounting experience. Proficiency in Yardi. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software/databases. Strong data management and analytical skills. Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
