As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Manufacturing Facility in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading automotive location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related concerns, assist with access control, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment at the location. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
