Production Operator
Our client, a leader in the production industry, is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the Production department supporting the overall manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Production Operator Location: Paducah, KY Pay Range: $17.00 per hour Shift: Must be available to work a swing shift schedule, including both day and night shifts. Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed is required. What's the Job? Weigh up raw materials for production use according to batch tickets, ensuring accurate lot numbers. Package finished goods into boxes, inspecting pouches for damage or foreign materials prior to packing. Learn and perform tasks in other areas of Staging and Packaging as needed. Follow all work instructions and safety rules without exception, including the consistent use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Actively participate in general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe plant and work area. What's Needed? Good math, reading, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work a physically demanding day, including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and twisting. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds alone, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Some prior experience operating a forklift is required.
