Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for working on the production line and collaborating with production leads to ensure a thorough inspection process. This role involves performing product inspections for incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections. The inspector will measure packaging materials, record any issues or machine disruptions, and maintain logs from the first shift to ensure clear communication and smooth handovers. The use of gauges and micrometers to ensure compliance is required, as well as measuring particulates as small as 0.8 sq mm. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and the capacity to stand during the shift on the production line. Responsibilities
Collaborate with production leads to facilitate the full inspection process. Conduct product inspections for incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final stages. Measure packaging materials and report any issues or machine disruptions. Maintain communication logs between shifts to ensure seamless transition. Utilize gauges and micrometers to verify compliance. Measure particulates as small as 0.8 sq mm. Lift up to 40 lbs and stand throughout the shift on the production line. Essential Skills
2 years of quality control inspection experience in a production environment. 2 years of documentation experience. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 1 year of experience using micrometers or calipers. Proficiency in reading a ruler and tape measure with 1/16th and 1/32 of an inch graduation. Proficient in reading and writing English. Additional Skills & Qualifications
2 years of experience in flexible packaging or medical device environments. Experience using gauges or calibration equipment. Bilingual skills are a plus. Experience with Tyvek material inspection. Why Work Here?
