This position supports and executes plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve Plant's key performance goals for overall maintenance performance. Identify and diagnose mechanical failures involving; bearings, seals, conveyor belts, chillers, head rolls, nose rolls, and gearmotors Responsible for the start-up, operation, cleaning, and shut down of the LADRES, Sorters, and Tomra Responsible for eliminating all causes of failure and ensuring full useful life in coordination with daily preventive maintenance Carry out repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment Provide technical and problem-solving support to production team Assure production schedules are met, and all issues are resolved and communicated in a timely fashion Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities Ability to respond to problems within assigned scope with Sorters, LADRES, Tomra, and Foreign Material Removal Equipment Assure all equipment in assigned area is functioning properly and report any problems to maintenance and department supervisors immediately Diagnose electrical failures involving motors, PLC's, VFD's, Optical PC's, cameras, image processors, VM1 manifolds, smart ejector manifolds, high and low voltage power supplies, LED bars/drivers Operate systems on Optical sorters such as; Key Manta Wet 2060, Key Manta Frozen 2060, Key Veryx Frozen, Key Very x Wet, Tomra whole potato sorter, 48L and 32L Ladre Superior Equipment Troubleshooting Sorters, LADRES, Tomra, and Foreign Material Removal Equipment and problem-solving skills Perform preventative maintenance inspections Ability to think outside the box to help drive innovation Perform any other duties as assigned Basic & Preferred Qualifications

3 years plant related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Lock-out/Tag-out and forklift certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements. Direct experience with Electronics, Mechanical, and Air Driven Sorting systems is preferred Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Voltmeter/electrical diagnosing Safe hand and power tool use Welding and fabrication Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. Effectively communicate with contractors Industry-Competitive Benefits
