The Sr. Manager, FP&A - Operations provides financial leadership and oversight to the FBIN Supply Chain FP&A team for driving reporting, forecasting, and planning functions, partnering cross functionally to provide strategic and tactical insight identifying and addressing business issues and opportunities. Ownership of accurate, timely and consistent Supply Chain messaging across the organization. Business partner to Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Finance and Corporate FP&A leaders. Position location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) ResponsibilitieS: Lead annual planning and monthly forecasting process for FBIN Supply Chain, partnering with Finance Leaders and their teams to deliver against financial targets and appropriately communicate risks and opportunities to the leadership team. Ownership of Supply Chain messaging throughout the organization to ensure one source of truth and story consistency, inclusive of file documentation for record keeping. Develop and implement a forecast management process that measures performance against targets (e.g. accuracy). Develop and effectively communicate timelines for all deliverables, including but not limited to Plan, Month-End Close, Forecast and reporting. Prepare and communicate consolidated reporting for plan, forecast and actuals (single source of truth), including commentary with drivers based on activity and results within the business. Consolidate Total FBIN commentary for the Supply Chain Leadership, VP of Operations Finance, and submissions to Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN) FP&A. Review forecast assumptions, drivers, and variances (bridge) with Commercial Finance and Supply Chain leadership. Lead / coordinate the preparation of Monthly Business Review (MBR) / Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations. Perform ad hoc analysis and lead special projects to support the Supply Chain finance organization Identify improvements to operating fundamentals and processes, plans and leads the execution of process improvements and drives a culture of continuous improvement. Manages and mentors a team of financial analysts to provide support, coaching and development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or supply chain finance required. 7+ years of experience preferred. 3+ years leadership experience required. Previous experience with financial modeling and a high level of competency with spreadsheet programs and financial modeling development Demonstrated success as a strategic business partner Able to travel approximately 5%, as required Skills and Abilities: Ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables with competing priorities Self-starter who has had success working in ambiguous situations Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines Strong communication throughout all levels of the organization (written and oral) Excellent strategic-thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills On going Continuous improvement mindset Must be a team player with the ability to think conceptually, be flexible and strategic Have an enterprise-wide mindset and seek to influence business partners to do the same Ability to engage with and work across all levels of the organization Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and business partners Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
