Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Base Salary Range DOE: $130-160k

We're looking for a Senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in both Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments, to join a high-performing technical operations team. This individual will play a central role in the administration of mission-critical, high-availability on-prem infrastructure, supporting global data delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and support secure, stable infrastructure across production, test, and development environments. Administer and harden Linux (RHEL 8) and Windows servers to meet strict security and availability standards. Automate system management tasks using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or similar configuration management solutions. Oversee patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery readiness. Manage centralized authentication systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory). Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis of incidents. Maintain accurate documentation for procedures, configurations, and system architecture. Respond to and resolve escalated operational issues, often working with external vendors and geographically distributed teams. Support system-level testing for performance, redundancy, and fault tolerance. Contribute to policy and process improvements for infrastructure reliability and security posture. Skilled Needed:
Strong hands-on (8 years+) experience administering both Linux (RHEL 8) and Windows systems in an enterprise setting. Experience with centralized identity management (LDAP, AD), virtualization, and scripting for automation. Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools. Solid understanding of system and network monitoring tools and best practices. Experience working in environments governed by strict security controls or compliance frameworks. Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to work effectively across distributed teams and vendors. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required as eligibility for a Public Trust Clearance may be required.
