Transportation Coordinator

At STR Behavioral Health, our mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals and families impacted by substance abuse and mental health disorders through providing comprehensive, collaborative, and personalized behavioral health care. STR Behavioral health offers a detox and residential program at our Silver Pines location in Mahanoy City, PA. STR also has a residential Mental Health Facility as well as Outpatient locations for Mental Health and SUD within Pennsylvania Position Summary This position is responsible for offering logistical support around transportation for all clients admitted to STR as well as assisting with intakes and admissions activities. The transportation coordinator directly supports clients during transports. Additional Responsibilities Mentor and support clients in a professional manner Manage all Vehicle Maintenance, repairs, registration, and cleanings Ensure the safety and compliance of all company vehicles Relationships and Contacts Within the organization:

Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout Silver Pines, Civiq, and affiliated facilities. Outside the organization:

Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary. Position Responsibilities Maintaining a safe and secure environment Help Clients by providing information, services, and assistance Support clients to travel when necessary Support clients to engage in treatment plans Support fire safety and physical wellness of clients Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all company vehicles Make sure all company vehicles have updated inspection, insurance, oil change, etc. Make transportation arrangements when vehicles are being fixed Assist admissions as needed by completing Pre-Assessments and VOBs Assist the intake process by completing searches Complete other duties and tasks as assigned Minimum Requirements This position requires a minimum of a high school Diploma and 1 Year experience in the human service field providing direct support/ Experience in the substance abuse field preferred. Knowledge and experience with basic Microsoft software packages is preferred. Active valid drivers license and 5 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
