Nuclear Simulator Training Instructor, Salem Operations (PWR)
Location: Hancock's Bridge, NJ, US Company: PSEG Requisition: 82229 Salary Range: $118,000 - $193,800 Work Location Category: Hybrid Fixed Job Summary Responsible for coordinating, implementing, and managing all aspects of the Licensed Operations Training Program for Salem and Hope Creek Generating Station. Job Responsibilities Serve as senior instructor in the assigned area of the Salem or Hope Creek Operations Training including instruction of trainees and maintenance of records. Gather pertinent information necessary for the development of new and revision of existing material. Develop, review, and revise training procedure program descriptions and abstracts for including in the Training program. Work with Training Supervisor to define training needs and evaluate their effectiveness. Lead/evaluate simulator scenarios. Provide Instructor Continuing Training Instruction to peers. Interface with Simulator Support personnel regarding Simulator Performance and fidelity issues. Serve as Program Lead. Monitor, track, and report on student performance to operations management. Job Specific Qualifications BS Degree with 7 years of Operations Experience. In lieu of a degree, must have HS Diploma/GED with 10 years of Operations Experience. Classroom instruction experience. Some shift work may be required for training. Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation is required for this job.
