Manufacturing Supervisor

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. The GE Aerospace facility in McAllen is one of our centers of expertise specializing in the repair of engine components used in commercial and military aircraft. These include LPT Nozzles, HPT Nozzles, and HPT Hangars. You'll find state of the art technologies in CNC, EDM, and Coating as well as advanced technology development within our new Tech Lab. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations. This position is primarily on-site. You will develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and use your prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy and strategy. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). For roles in the USA: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)). Previous production supervision experience. Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or Engineering. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills. Full-time position with standard business hours. Background and drug screening required.
