Quality Engineer
You will be the Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our team is responsible for producing and validating hardware for sophisticated missile systems and associated launch vehicles, and we're seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for working on complex technical problems, providing innovative solutions, and acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with quality inspections and assembly processes. You will have the opportunity to lead quality inspection efforts, mentor less experienced engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineers, tool technicians, and customers. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing quality inspections and supporting assembly processes Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes Mentoring less experienced engineers and leading quality inspection efforts Participating in teams to accomplish long-range objectives and develop new concepts Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and attending industry conferences We're looking for a highly skilled and innovative Quality Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field or higher. Advanced knowledge of AS9100D Quality systems and pertinent Quality practices. Mechanical skills and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) understanding. Ability to develop, apply, and analyze effectiveness of quality methods. Ability to proactively review and develop documentation/drawing for compliance with requirements, use tools for documentation and corrective action of non-conformances. Exhibit business professionalism and values. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced interpersonal skills. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Desired Skills: Green Belt Six Sigma Certification with knowledge of statistical process controls. Root Cause Analysis and related Corrective Action training. Effective time management and good organizational skills. SAP knowledge. Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Degree This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
