About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Accounting to oversee all accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting. This senior leader will guide our accounting organization through periods of growth, operational scaling, and strategic transformation. The VP of Accounting will partner closely with the CFO, Finance, and executive leadership to maintain financial excellence, drive process improvements, and support the company's business objectives. Key Responsibilities

Leadership Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls that ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, and SOX. Financial Reporting Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and disclosures. Partner with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes. Operational Excellence Drive accounting process improvements and automation initiatives. Ensure proper tax planning, compliance, and reporting in collaboration with internal and external tax resources. Support M&A activities, due diligence, and integration efforts as needed. Business and Partnership Work closely with FP&A and other business leaders to align financial operations with strategic goals. Provide insights to inform executive decision-making. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. Experience: 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience. Proven track record in senior accounting roles at major publicly traded companies (Fortune 500 or large-cap preferred). Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance. Experience managing accounting functions in high-growth or complex organizational environments. Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication abilities. Strong track record of building high-performing teams and scaling operations. Benefits
