Assembler
The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line and assemble parts for satellite systems. Responsibilities
Work as part of a production team to assemble parts. Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts. Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment. Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. Pack, seal, and move boxes. Pick up, move, and sort small parts. Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, and wiring. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal. Ability to interpret and work with blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Eligibility to work in the US as a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Non-Citizen with work authorization. Associates degree or certificate in a technical area preferred. Experience in assembly or manufacturing. High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment. Experience in the space or aeronautical field is desirable. Why Work Here?
