Administrative Executive Officer
The Administrative Executive Officer of Institutional Advancement and the Hunter College Foundation leads foundation operations, development operations, technology & systems, and human resources and talent development, participates in planning and setting of semester-long, annual, and long-term priorities, and drives strategic initiatives to ensure their success. This position serves as the Administrative Executive Officer to the Department of Institutional Advancement and Hunter College Foundation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Oversee and optimize operational systems and infrastructure that support HCF's fundraising and administrative goals. Serve as a thought partner to VP and AVP for Institutional Advancement on organizational strategy, policy development, and performance management. Lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve data-driven decision-making, and support a culture of transparency and accountability. Supervise gift processing, database integrity, and reporting. Collaborate with fundraising leadership to maintain efficient and accurate donor records and gifts. Ensure licensure to solicit across the United States Implement scholarship-matching software in partnership with Student Services. In collaboration with Senior Development Director, oversee donor stewardship cycle and ensure stewardship materials are received by donors. Implement stewardship software to create dynamic stewardship opportunities. Oversee and help drive prospect research, including the identification of prospective trustees, 40 Under 40 candidates, and alumni for engagement opportunities. Oversee the integration and strategic use of technology systems, including One Drive and other Microsoft products, financial software, and HR platforms, to improve workflow, security, and data quality. Implement project management software across the team. Implement a Giving Day and Alumni Relations software in advance of Giving Day and Reunion 2026. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote equity, compliance, and staff well-being. Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development systems for the Foundation. Support team building, staff retention, and a positive organizational culture. Schedule and coordinate meetings of the Hunter College Foundation Board of Trustees. Oversee production of meeting materials, minutes, and the maintenance of official records. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required. Salary commensurate with education and experience, $122,357 -$141,086.
