CNC Machinist
Join our team as a CNC Machinist where precision and expertise meet cutting-edge technology. You will play a pivotal role in the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality parts. Responsibilities
Review work orders, blueprints, and setup instructions to determine required materials, tools, and production steps. Select and install dies, tooling, and fixtures using measuring and hand tools. Position and secure stops, guides, tracks, and turntables for proper machine operation. Load parts into machines and secure them with clamps. Adjust machine settings such as heat, wire speed, pressure, stroke depth, and feed rates based on material type and job specifications. Operate machinery to produce parts that meet required tolerances and finish standards. Inspect parts for accuracy in dimensions, squareness, concentricity, and surface finish. Deburr and smooth parts using hand tools, air files, belt sanders, or grinding wheels. Identify and resolve production issues, including replacing worn or damaged tools and fixtures. Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on machines and equipment. Record production times, inventory usage, and part locations in the database system. Report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or unusual conditions to supervisors. Keep work area and equipment clean and organized. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Properly dispose of waste materials. Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Troubleshooting skills for resolving production issues. Experience with changeover processes and lathe operations. Knowledge of grinding and machining processes. Ability to program and operate CNC machines. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software. Additional Skills & Qualifications
