Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Leads the production team, including assembly, test and packaging resources as direct or indirect reports. Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; participating in reporting procedures and systems; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Ensure all work instructions are followed accurately and compliantly. Responsible for expanding and developing the skillset of the department personnel to increase their capabilities and value to Cogmedix and our customers. Lead cell 6S implementation, maintenance and associate participation. Monitors the movement of material throughout all production cells. Responsible for adhering to Cogmedix's Quality Management System, including our strict compliance adherence, cGMP, ISO 13485, and Lean manufacturing requirements. Identify and report on any product quality problems or discrepancies. Identify those requirements which would affect quality and ensure the necessary guidelines are documented in procedures, work instructions, and training plans. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and adhere to outlined safety policies and procedures. Complete manufacturing documentation as outlined in the work order package and defined by the customer. Communicates and tracks daily production expectations and performance for all production cells. Performs other activities as directed. Commitment to compliance adherence. Positive attitude, self-motivator, tenacious follow up and excellent communication skills. Super customer service attitude, teamwork and communication skills. 3+ years' experience as a leader in a production environment, medical device and Lean manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills required. Working knowledge of cGMP, QSR, ISO, SOP's, Lean, work rules and safety guidelines preferred. Must be decisive, have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple functions to meet required deadlines and delight customers. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English. Ability to read and understand detailed instructions, manufacturing procedures, and drawings is required. Excellent manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination. Knowledge of assembly and test methods. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. A demonstrated commitment to company values.
