Our Manager, Direct Distribution plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include overseeing warehouse operations from receipt of finished products to customer distribution. The Distribution Center is the entry point for receiving finished products from Quva's manufacturing sites as well as the distribution hub for shipment to Quva's west and/or east coast customer base. This position will also be responsible for physical and book inventory accuracy and control as well as effective process flows, distribution, and building layout to optimize and leverage space utilization. Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. This is a full-time role for our 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. What the Manager, Direct Distribution Does Each Day: Responsible for all incoming, outgoing, and warehouse movements of product. Ensures finished product shipped & received are verified against proper documentation, and ERP system is kept updated Works with Sales and Operations to reduce risk associated with product availability resulting from inventory inaccuracies and drives resolves of any unplanned inventory discrepancies Establishes performance and inventory metrics aligned with company objectives and production operations requirements Provides an established technical expertise for current processes and oversees training of personnel on new processes Establishes effective relationships with transportation providers to drive exceptional customer satisfaction while achieving company objectives associated with monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets Leads customer order processing operations through to delivery at customer dock right first time, on time by partnering with Customer Service, Quality Lot Disposition, and transportation providers Reviews and approves of shipping documentation for commercial products In partnership with Finance and IT develops a comprehensive inventory tracking system to continuously improve and streamline material storage and usages Establishes and implements cycle counting programs and coordinate year-end physicals and for cause physical inventory counts conducting root cause investigation into identified differences Is proficient in warehouse management system and technologies including barcoding, vendor management inventory techniques, Kanban systems, inventory reconciliation and analysis methods in conjunction with warehouse layouts, equipment, and personnel flow, and storage configurations to facilitate effective and efficient operations and space utilization Performs ERP system transactions and exception-based reporting to achieve internal and external customer service and inventory management goals, managing tracking systems and acting as a liaison to other departments Maintains working relationships both internally and with external transportation representatives, vendors, and suppliers to ensure reliability, cost control, competitiveness and service levels. Identifies opportunities for streamlining flows, standardizing processes, and gaining efficiency and effectiveness Establishes and maintains required standards to ensure the environmental, health, safety and security Conducts routine safety and environmental audits with site personnel to identify work hazards and exposures Enforces applicable personnel policies and procedures Our Most Successful Manager, Direct Distribution: Has a sense of urgency, accountability and resourcefulness (e.g., work in changing environment) Is a self-starter and independent learner Promotes active listening with team members; Contributes appropriately to conversations Has strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with other departments within the organization and with people at all levels of the organization Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects; Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform Minimum Requirements for this Role: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field required 5+ years of inventory, distribution, and operational procedures, with 5+ years in related 2 years of supervisory or management experience required Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business and collaborative relationships, internally and externally ERP experience 18+ years of age Able to successfully complete a drug and background check Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Qu
