Job Description Primary Responsibilities Identify frame code by style cover components and options. Maintain a yield of 67% or higher and nest at least 150 SQ_FT of leather per hour. Read the traveler for correct instructions on what the primary cover will be composed of. Inspect and select more suitable leather to complete the assigned schedule group. Understand the basics of the different leather types and flaws by utilizing a leather manual Perform reworks as required. Assure that the nesting station receives the appropriate maintenance/clean-up and performs at acceptable levels. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to operate a computer including the mouse function. Familiar with the leather hides and their quality standards. Ability to work independently. Ability to stand for extended periods of time while operating equipment. Ability to read drawings a plus. Basic knowledge of English and Math. Effort Long term standing and kneeling. Occasional bending and stooping. Grasping and pushing. Wrist flexion/extension. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
