Estimator / Project Manager
Commercial Structural & Misc. Steel Fabrication
We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our team, specializing in commercial structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication projects. This dual-role position requires strong skills in estimating project costs and managing fabrication and erection from start to finish. Key responsibilities include: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projects. Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and scope of work. Coordinate with clients, engineers, and internal teams to develop project bids. Manage awarded projects from kickoff through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination. Track project progress and ensure timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met. Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and field crews throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Experience in estimating and managing commercial structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication projects - ideally 3+ years. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes. Proficient in estimating software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
