Janitorial Worker
This role involves cleaning non-occupied patient rooms, which requires deep cleaning and thorough disinfecting. Tasks include making beds, flipping mattresses, and handling linen disposal. The position also includes cleaning isolation rooms, requiring adherence to strict safety measures. The shift is from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends. The work involves handling bloody and dirty trash and soiled linen. Responsibilities
Clean non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring thorough disinfecting and deep cleaning. Make beds, flip mattresses, and thoroughly clean entire rooms. Dispose of linens by placing them into large, heavy bags and putting them down the chute. Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures and thoroughly mop with a string mop. Interact with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team with excellent communication skills. Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 75lbs frequently. Strong attendance record. Punctuality and reliability to work required hours and shifts. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to lift 50lbs and push 200lbs. 6 months of previous hospital/hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Direct experience in hospitals is preferred. Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
